Present Needs of the Church

The church needs:

• A missionary to lead the church in sound doctrine and facilitate baptism.
• Support for
  • church planting and leadership training programs
  • church central administration on the cost of hiring office, furniture, equipment and mobility for effective evangelism.
  • diaconal ministry especially education, health and agriculture.
• Worship centers, as we presently worship in public schools and under tress where schools are not found. It is always difficult to hire places of worship in the Gambia as owners of these places are Muslims who do not allow churches in their premises. It is therefore recommended to buy a plot of land for each Lutheran community so as to build our churches.
